Arraignment of former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, scheduled for Wednesday November 27 before Justice Muhammed Liman of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi Lagos Nigeria could not go on due to his absence from court.
No reason was given for his absence. Ikuforiji is being charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with money laundering offences involving N338 million.
The charge is marked FHC/L/422C/11.
His arraignment is sequel to an order by the Supreme Court directing his re-arraignment.
The court has therefore fixed December 11 for the arraignment.
