The Super Eagles will take on the Bafana Bafana in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier billed for Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom on Friday, June 7.
Speaking about the encounter, Ikpeba noted that Nigeria needed a penalty shootout to beat the South Africans during their last meeting in the semi-final at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The former African Player of the Year urged the Nigerian team to step up their game if they want to secure maximum points against Hugo Broos’ men.
