Mesut Ozil left the Emirate in 2021 and signed for Turkish club, Fenerbahçe who are currently fifth in the league table

Former Watford striker, Odion Ighalo has said ex-German playmaker, Mesut Ozil, is the best player he ever played against in the Premier League.
Ighalo made this known as a guest on Thursday evening’s edition of ‘Inside The Hive’ where he answered questions from Watford supporters.
The Super Eagles striker played four times against Ozil when he was at Watford and they won only one of the matches against the Gunners.
The 32-year-old Al-Hilal star went on to make 100 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League side scoring 39 goals in the process.

He, however, returned to the Premier League last season and played for his childhood club, Manchester United.
Asked to name the best player he played against when he donned the colours of Watford, he said, “I have come up against many players.
“I will say when we played against Arsenal, I came up against Mesut Ozil. He is a very good player and very skillful.”
