BBNaija star, Ifuennada, has asked the government to promulgate a law that will penalize men hiding their marital status

Fashion designer and former BBnaija housemate, Iheme Faith Uloma, popularly known as Ifuennada has championed a law that will punish men and women hiding their marital status.
The TV reality star made her view on the matter known via her Instagram page earlier today.
Ifuennada in the post said lying about men’s marital status should be criminalized and offenders should be punished accordingly.

She also added that their victims should be paid a sum of money for the troubles and the mental torture they went through in the process.
She said: “Men who lie about their marital status to deceive and date a girl should be considered criminals and punished by the law.
“Their victims should be financially compensated for their troubles and destabilized mental state.”
The fashion designer later extended it to women who are also caught doing the same thing.
Whether male or female, lying about your marital status should be considered a criminal offense with a befitting punishment.” Ifuennada added
Instagram users have weighed in on the matter, while some agreed with her, others accused her of bias, saying adding women was an afterthought.
A handful of users however believed she was talking about her ex, they advised her to boldly call him out rather than act as if she was giving advice.
Ifuennada is one of the 20 contestants in the Big Brother Naija season 3, which was held in 2018 and tagged: “Double Wahala”, the edition was won by Miracle and had the likes of Tobi Bakare and Cece
She has since then, gone on to become a fashion designer and a Nollywood actress.
