Fast-rising Nigerian Afropop artiste and songwriter, Charles Chukwu better known as Crayon has shared a moment he struggled in his musical career with fans.
According to the 21-year-old singer, he went through a period, especially during the first three years he was signed to Don Jazzy’s label, Mavin, without getting to play at a show or music concert.
The ‘Overdose’ corner took to his Twitter page on Monday, August 1, to recount his experience in December 2021, revealing he wept at a point and doubted his ability to succeed as a musician.
Crayon, however, said he got through the trying time through words of encouragement and assurances from his boss, Don Jazzy and others close to him.

Meanwhile, the Mavin Record’s star recently paid an unscheduled visit to his alma mater, and he got a rousing reception from the pupils of the school.

The excited students and teachers of the college who came out in large numbers were treated to some of his hit songs, as they sang along with the singer.
