Alex Ferguson retired from football after leading Manchester United to their 13th Premier League title in 27th year

Former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has admitted that he missed coaching after retiring from football.
The legendary football tactician made this known while featuring on BBC Breakfast show.
The 82-year-old retired as the manager of the Red Devils in 2013 after leading the club to their 13th Premier League title in what was his 27th year at Old Trafford.
United have struggled for success ever since Ferguson’s departure, with their city rivals, Man City leading the way for much of the last decade.
Speaking about life post retirement, Ferguson said he wished he is still a football manager.

He further added that he missed big European games, saying Man United ought to be playing in such competitions.
Asked if he missed coaching, he said, “I have been retired 11 years now, so you find a way of adjusting.
“I miss it sometimes. I think the first year after retirement, I went to the European final and I said to Cathy (his late wife), ‘this is what I miss’. The big games, the European games.
“So then I went to most of the European finals because I find something I can relate to, something I would like to have done every day.
“Because these are the big events that United should always be involved in.”
