Reigning Mr Africa and one of the finalists of Big Brother Nigeria season 6, Emmanuel, has addressed the accusation of flirting with two housemates, Saskay and Angel despite his love entanglement with Liquorose.
In an interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on Tuesday, he told him that he was only doing so to keep viewers entertained and stay relevant on the show.
He went further to say that people got the wrong impression, as he saw Angel like his kid sister and that he was flirting with her and Saskay because others were doing so too and he doesn’t want to appear boring.
“It may seem as though people have the wrong impression. But then, everybody in that house was a flirt.
“Everybody, once in a while, dropped one or two things about every other person. So I was like, if that’s the trend, let me also hop in so that it would not appear that Emmanuel was an escort here.
“So Angel came into the house and I saw that she was good looking. As I always do, I stepped back and started noticing everybody.
“Her personality was really deep. She’s from my place and I understand how things were going with her. I decided that I shouldn’t just push her aside.
“I saw her like a sister so I came up with the name ‘baby sister.’ But then, the whole flirting didn’t stop. As she was flirting with me, I was also flirting back with her.
“We were both ‘catching cruise’ in that house. It was a pure cruise for us.” he said.
Emmanuel added that he was also catching fun with Saskay, the 21-year-old artist from Adamawa State, stating that they both knew that they were flirting with each other and it was nothing serious.
Recall Angel accused Emmanuel of not having genuine feeling for Liquorose, because he was constantly hitting on her, while they were in the house. Saskay also said he asked for a kiss.
