A journalist, David Hundeyin, has dared NASCO to go to court and sue him if they were sure of the fact that his report was false and mischievous.

Hundeyin, in his report, Cornflakes for Jihad, alleged that Ahmed Nasreddin, the founder of NASCO, headquartered in Jos, was a man in league with terrorist organisations, including Boko Haram.

The report also revealed that an Islamic organisation, Izala, also headquartered in Jos, is the ideological think-tank of Boko Haram with some of its key members, Yakubu Musa Kafanchan and Haruna Shahru among its earliest members arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) for plotting to set up a terror group in Nigeria after receiving training in Algeria.

Kafanchan, who later allegedly changed his name to Katsina, has featured in two photographs with President Muhammadu Buhari, one of them in Aso Rock.

Also, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, who in the past praised Al-Qaeda and its cousin, the Taliban, once referred to Kafanchan, also known as Katsina as an ‘Elder Statesman’ on his verified Twitter handle.

NASCO Group has in a statement described Hundeyin’s report as “fake, malicious and mischievous.”

Hundeyin, responded by asking NASCO Group to sue him if they were sure that his report was false.

He said: “I put it to you (NASCO Group) that you are telling lies. I am saying this on record. If this is not the case, I challenge you to sue.

“I expected this weak response to include even a legal threat. So, here am I ‘the individual,’ hereby challenging you to go to court,” he said.
