Napoli’s striker Victor Osimhen was the hero on Monday as Super Eagles brushed aside Sao Tome in a 10-0 goals thriller.
Nigeria proved too much for Sao Tome right from the blast of the whistle scoring the first goal in the 12th minute through Osimhen.
The striker made two quick assists for Nantes FC winger, Moses Simon in the 28th and for Terem Moffi in the 43rd minutes ensuring that Nigeria returned to the dressing room with a comfortable lead
Oghenekaro Etebo netted the 4th goal for Nigeria in the 55th minute through an incredible direct free-kick before Nantes forward completed his brace and made it 5 in the 60th minute.
