Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, shared a baby’s photo on her Instagram page on April 6 to announce the birth of her baby boy.
The picture, which only revealed the baby’s little fingers, turned out to be another person’s baby which has long existed on the internet before Halima announced the arrival of her new baby.
Many celebrities, including Ruggedman, Omoni Oboli congratulated her before some smart people pulled out the original photo.
The actress, who had announced in 2019 that she was expecting a baby, quickly pulled down the controversial picture.
Halima has now joined the list of celebrities who passed other people’s pictures on internet as theirs.
Oge Okoye once claimed that she has purchased two puppies. The fraud was later discovered when the same image was found to have existed somewhere.
Kaycee was also caught using screenshot of someone else’s money as his. Halima has since taken the image down after the Nigerian Twitter started calling her out.
