Abducted Sole Administrator of the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, Christopher Ohizu, has been beheaded. His killers sliced his throat in the most gruesome manner.
Viral videos of his beheading surfaced online on Sunday evening.

Ohizu was abducted with bullet wound alongside two others on Friday after his country home at Imoko community in Arondizuogu area of the LGA was razed.
It was gathered that his abductors had allegedly received a N6 million ransom before beheading him on Sunday.
The video of his beheading was posted with his own phone on his WhatsApp status. This was how people got to know that he has been beheaded.
A source was quoted by Daily Sun as saying that the throat of the Imo LGA chairman was sliced after collecting a ransom of N6 million. “He was killed in such an inhuman way. The videos are terrifying. May God heal our land.”
The newspaper added that when contacted, the spokesperson for the Police in the state, Henry Okoye, promised to get back with his response.
Coming few weeks after three people were killed and properties destroyed when gunmen attacked the residence of the spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Imo Ugochinyere, citizens and commentators from Imo and Orlu in particular, have criticized the murder of the council chairman, describing it as barbarism taken too far.
Chris Nweke, a commercial driver who plies Orlu-Urualla-Akokwa Road, Ideato, told our reporter that because of the level of mayhem along that route in recent times, plying along that axis has become a nightmare to him and his colleagues.
“We are scared stiff plying that route these days. We are in dangerous times, these days. We are calling on the government at state and federal levels to come to our assistance.”
