A massive warehouse containing staggering amount of food stuffs in Osun, State has been bursted and looted by hoodlums barely 48 hours after similar fate befell the Lagos COVID-19 food storage.
The Osun food stuffs warehouse, also a possible COVID-19 palliatives storage, is so massive that the hundreds of hoodlums who vandalized the facility, were unable to empty half of the supplies.
The hoodlums, who recorded the break in, were heard screaming that they won’t be able to carry home all the bags of rice and noodles that were stocked.
The looters did not even scramble for the loot because it was far more than the looters, unlike their Lagos counterpart who ruffled one another to get a cut.
The Lagos State government has said that the food stuff in the warehouse were COVID-19 parliatives that arrived the state since September 22, and was meant for the entire South West, not only Lagos.
Twitter commenters have however wondered that if the Lagos food stuffs warehouse were for the South West, who were the beneficiaries for the Osun supplies.
