Hollywood actress and media personality, Amanda Seales, has said Saturday’s assassination attempt on former United States President, Donald Trump was “staged.”

TheNiche had earlier reported that one person died and another one was seriously injured after gunshots were fired at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The incident also saw the injured Republican Party candidate in the upcoming presidential election rushed off stage by security staff.

The FBI later identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the “subject involved” in the attempted assassination of Trump.

However, despite the disclosure of the identity of the suspect by security agencies, Seales expressed doubts about the authenticity of the assassination attempt on the former president.

Speaking in a video message shared via her social media, the thespian insisted that it was “staged,” stressing that gunshots do not sound like “making popcorn on the stove.”

She also wondered if Trump would respond to the crowd’s cheering by raising his hand in the air if an actual attempt was made on his life.

Seales said: “That sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President

“I lived in Harlem long enough to know gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove. Where did the bullet come from? In theater/movies, there is something called blood pallet. You place it in your mouth, you crush it and then blood comes out.

“To be frank, Trump would not respond by raising his hand in the air where an actual attempt was made on his life.”
