Danish striker, Rasmus Højlund has completed his medical ahead of his £72million move from Serie A side, Atalanta to Premier League club, Manchester United.
According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils who are set to play a pre-season match against Lens at Old Trafford on Saturday, will likely unveil Højlund in front of the club’s supporters during the encounter.
The Denmark international after putting pen to paper will become Man United’s third major signing this summer, following the arrival of Mason Mount and Andre Onana from Chelsea and Inter Milan respectively.

He has been Man United manager Erik ten Hag’s preferred choice of striker all through this summer window transfer.
Højlund graduated from Copenhagen’s youth academy, making his first-team debut for the club aged 17 in October 2020.
After scoring five goals in 32 appearances for Copenhagen, he joined Austrian club Sturm Graz in January 2022.
Later that year, the 20-year-old was signed by Atalanta for €17 million. He has since then scored 9 goals in 32 appearances for the Italian club.
