Hilda Baci’s global superfans still working Twitter on her achievement

Guinness World Records (GWR) has just disclosed Hilda Baci’s global superfans crashed its website for two days in May in their quest to interact with her cook-a-thon live from Lagos, Nigeria’s megacity and commercial capital of 20 million residents.
“Hilda’s cook-a-thon was in fact so popular that our website crashed for two days due to the immense volume of traffic we received from her legion of loyal fans,” GWR said on Tuesday in a statement that officially certified her as the world record holder for the longest cooking time by an individual.
She attempted to set a record of 100 hours, but GWR deducted almost seven hours from her final count because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the marathon which lasted from May 11 to May 15.

“Congratulations Hilda Baci 🎊🎉
“The greatest lesson here is that Hilda did not stop even after surpassing the 87 hours set by Lata Tondon.
“She went all the way to 100 hours and the decision to do so helped her set a new world record despite GWR taking away 7 hours!!!. I’m inspired to do more. Thank you Hilda.
