President of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, says Christian leaders in government who seat in the comfort of their office while Fulani herdsmen wreck havoc across the land, killing Christians in their churches, are failures.
Oyedepo made the remark on Sunday April 29, 2018 at the church headquarters in Otta, Ogun State, while mourning the killing of two Catholic priests and Christian faithful in Benue State.
He said: “I don’t know how a Christian leader will sit down and be looking like Mumu. Is that wickedness or justice? If this government is not wicked, people are being killed, two priests shot in church and nothing is being done,” he said.
He said the attack confirms the fear of an Islamic agenda being implemented.
“Let no one deceive themselves. It is an Islamic uprising to scatter the church and Islamize Nigeria. But their plans will scatter. They cannot chase us out of our nation. Nigeria is for all of us. They should better be warned because if they don’t stop, God will stop them,” he said.
