Heartland appoints new coach

Nigeria Professional Football League club, Heartland of Owerri has appointed Hassan Abdallah as the club new head coach for the 2021/2022 league season.


The Naze Millionaire under Fidelis Ilechukwu posted not too good performance last season due to financial issues but still found a way to escape relegation.

The management of the team on Thursday announced Abdallah has the new coach on a 2-year deal.

The light-skinned gaffer who was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles technical crew to the 2005 FIFA U20 World Cup is not new to the Nigeria league having worked with Kano Pillars and Katsina United in the past.
