Hausa community in Abia appeals to Ogah, Otti to support Ikpeazu

The Hausa Community in Abia has appealed to two politicians in the state, Dr. Alex Otti, and Dr. Uche Sampson Ogah, to quickly resolve their differences and rally round Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the interest of peace and unity in the

state.

It would be recalled that Otti was the governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the state, while

Ogah contested governorship primaries on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and emerged second in 2015, respectively.

The Chairman, Northern Traditional Rulers Council, South-South and South East as well as leader Hausa Community in Umuahia,

Sarki Alhaji Yaro Danladi, made the plea while speaking with our correspondent.

According to him, Abia has recorded tremendous achievements on its 25 years, but stressed that with the current political distraction in place, the

state might suffer setback in its quest for advancement.

The Kano-born royal father, who commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Abia host community for their hospitality, promised the support of the Hausa community in Abia to rally his administration.

Sarki Yaro Danladi while congratulating Governor Ikpeazu on his recent Appeal Court victory, called on all political class in the state to put the past behind them and join hands with the present government to enable Abia take its rightful position.

He said that the Hausa community in Abia would continue to promote peace, unity and progress as they continue to pray for quick end to Abia political impasse.
