Leeds United suffered another humiliating defeat in their bid to avoid relegation as Tottenham secured a dominant 4-0 victory at Elland Road.
Matt Doherty opened the floodgate of goals for Spurs as early as the 10th minute after Ryan Sessegnon broke clear down the left and delivered a perfectly weighted cross for him to score.
The visitors doubled their advantage 5 minutes later after Spurs’ January acquisition, Dejan Kulusevski netted an assist from Matt Doherty.

Harry Kane then whips a sublime pass behind Leeds defence for Son Heung-min to scamper on, he takes a neat touch off his thigh and then finds the back of the net to end the game 4-0.
The hosts missed opportunities to score when. Robin Koch and Raphinha struck the woodwork for Leeds and Stuart Dallas missed a sitter before Spurs’ fourth goal.
The hosts rarely looked capable of forging a route back into the game as Spurs continued to carve out opportunities on the counter-attack.
The win takes Spurs to within four points of fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played one game more than the London side.
Leeds United have now conceded 10 goals in their last 2 games and remain three points above the bottom three but could drop into the relegation zone if other results go against them later today.
