Halima Abubakar warns against dating married men

Popular Nigerian actress, Halima Abubakar, has advised ladies to learn from her experience and stop dating other women’s husbands. 

The movie star gave the counsel in a recent social media post, where she told fellow women that it is better to live a quality life filled with good moral virtues and responsibilities.

Halima in the now viral Instagram post also said being a side chick to married men is morally wrong, but staying away from people’s husbands is the way to go. 

The 37-year-old stressed that she is issuing the warning against such practices because she does not want people to experience what she went through after indulging in such an act.

She went on to express gratitude to her fans and well wishers, for their constant prayers, love and encouragement. 

The thespian also further counselled that having a side business was far better than being a married man’s side chick. 

She wrote: “Live a life you would be proud of.

“Thank you all for all the prayers and encouragement and love .

“I am on a new part to a new life; strive to be new and stay safe and morally upright.

“No do side chick o…see u soon. Find a side business and leave people’s husbands.

” Don’t make the mistake I made…The idea is to be morally right, ” 

Abubakar who is also a model rose to fame after the release of her debut film ‘Sabotage’ In 2011 after which she won the Afro Hollywood Best Actress prize.

The Kano-born actress after attaining fame later established the Halima Abubakar Foundation, an NGO that aids the poor.
