Haaland who will not be traveling to Qatar because Norway failed to qualify for the World Cup, made the remark while talking to SuperSportTV

Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland, has suggested that Senegal will likely go far at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this month given the quality of players they have.
The former Dortmund striker, who will not be traveling to Qatar because Norway failed to qualify for the World Cup. made the remark while speaking on the World Cup recently on SuperSportTV.
Haaland, while assessing the African contingent at this year’s World Cup, concluded that Senegal have so many strong players, adding that they are the best side in the continent.

He said: “I think Senegal will do really well.
“They are a strong team and they have so many strong players. So I think Senegal will do the best out of those.”
Senegal is one of the five African representatives at the tournament the others being Ghana, Tunisia, Cameroon and Morocco.
They head to Qatar with a star-studded squad, including the likes of Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane, Everton’s Idrissa Gana Gueye and Chelsea duo Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly.
