The 22-year-old further said that even though he has faced several tough defenders in his career, Van Dijk stands out because he has given him a run for his money on several occasions.
Speaking during the chat he said: “There are many good defenders.
“I have to say, Liverpool’s Van Dijk is so good.
“I’ve met him many times with (the) national team, played in Salzburg, met him; he’s really good. That’s who I can think of right now.”
Haaland has scored 36 goals and seven assists in 34 appearances in the Premier League this season, becoming the quickest player to reach that figure in a season.
