The attack on Aguata Local Government Secretariat is coming barely a week after the secretariat of Nnewi Local Government Area headquarters at Ukpo was set ablaze.
After setting ablaze the Aguata local government secretariat at Ekwulobia, gunmen moved to a cattle market where they opened fire on cows and goats on the ranch.
The gunmen attacked the cattle market at Igboukwu local government area of Aguata just three days after the Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, led the people of the state to pray for the peace of the land and the end of the Monday sit-at-home.
The cattle traders and their family members escaped unhurt, according to reports.
