Gunmen have abducted en masse the traditional ruler of Umuezie community in Nguru, Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo state, Eze Charles Iroegbu, his family and cabinet members.
According to Vanguard Newspaper, the kidnappers were suspected hoodlums who have been terrorizing Villagers around Okigwe zone and Mbaise axis.
According to the newspaper, the monarch was kidnapped on Wednesday, April 7 alongside his cabinet members when they were returning home from a traditional wedding ceremony.
The report added that the monarch, who is said to be the managing Director of All States mass transit connect, was also with some of his family members when the abduction took place.
