Guardiola led Man City to a historic Treble last season, a feat last achieved by ex-Man United boss, Ferguson

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has told city rivals, Manchester United that the glory days they enjoyed under legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson may be behind them.
The Spaniard made this known while speaking ahead of eagerly anticipated Sunday’s Derby at Old Trafford.
Guardiola led the Citizens to a historic Treble last season last season, a feat last achieved by Ferguson.
He is, however, yet to match Ferguson’s achievement of 13 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues at Man United.

Despite this, Guardiola has won five out of the last six Premier League titles and when asked recently if success would ever return to the red side of Manchester, he replied: “Maybe not in the way that Sir Alex Ferguson controlled in those days because in that moment I think there were only two or three teams.”
He further noted that Man United’s dominance of the English league under Sir Ferguson occurred when only a few clubs were challenging for the title, saying such a feat will be difficult to replicate now.
“Now there are more clubs with a lot of incredible managers – so maybe not in that way,” Guardiola added.
