Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola on Sunday reminded Liverpool fans how successful he’s been since his arrival in England despite losing 2-0 to the Reds at Anfield.
Goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah in the 12th and 78th minutes respectively ensured Arne Slot’s side extended their lead over Guardiola’s men to 11 points in the Premier League.
However, with Liverpool closing in on victory on Sunday, fans of the home side began to chant and demand Guardiola’s sack around the 89th minute.
“You’re getting sacked in the morning,” the supporters chorused.

Responding to the song, Guadiola smiled and held up one hand and one finger to indicate the number of Premier League titles he has won since joining Man City.
Also speaking with Sky Sports after the match, he said he did not expect Liverpool fans to call for his sack.
He said, “I didn’t expect that at Anfield.
“I didn’t expect it from the people from Liverpool but it’s fine, it’s part of the game, and I understand completely. We’ve had incredible battles together. I have a respect for them.”
