Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has described winning four consecutive English Premier League (EPL) titles as a herculean task.
He made this known ahead of his team’s crucial league tie against North London club, Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night.
According to the Spanish tactician, iconic managers such as Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United), Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) and Jose Mourinho (Chelsea) were unable to achieve the feat.
He, however, went on to say since Man City are still in the race for this year’s title, they are capable of winning four. consecutive trophies
Man City are on the verge of breaking the jinx with two league fixtures left to play.
A win against Tottenham on Tuesday and another one against West Ham on Saturday, will ensure they retain the trophy for the fourth consecutive time.

It will be the first time a team will achieve it in English football history.
Speaking ahead of the match against Spurs, Guardiola said: “In the beginning of the season, we didn’t think about the four Premier Leagues.
“If we are in February, March, April and we are still there, we can still do it, after that ignites something In all our heads that says guys no team has done it. That shows you how hard it is.
“Liverpool in the 1980s, Sir Alex Ferguson’s United in the 1990s, Chelsea with [Roman] Abramovich and Jose [Mourinho] and Arsenal with [Arsene] Wenger didn’t do it, so if it’s not been done it’s difficult. It’s as simple as that.”
