Political leaders at all levels have been admonished to set aside their differences and jointly tackle the issue of insecurity, political thuggery, kidnapping and other crimes that are ravaging some parts of the country.

In its Easter message to the nation, a pressure group Christian Conscience made the call in a statement signed by its publicity Secretary Mr. Tunji Oguntuase.
Quoting the chairman of the group, Chief Enock Ajiboso, the group condemned the lingering insecurity in some parts of the country and urged the leaders to seize the opportunity of the Easter celebration to embrace what Jesus Christ stood for. “We must love one and another because a society where love does not exists cannot prosper”.
Reflecting on Mark 12:31, Ajiboso urged both Christians and Muslims to “set aside their differences to move the nation forward”.
Ajiboso also called on security agencies to redouble their efforts at ensuring that all citizens are protected in all parts of the country. Though the challenges are enormous, Ajiboso affirmed that with prayers the challenges are surmountable.
The group called on all Christian faithful to celebrate Easter in moderation and constantly reflect on how Jesus Christ came, lived and died for us
