Gov Otti assures of equitable development of Abia communities

Abia state governor, Dr Alex Otto, OFR has said his government would deliver even development to all Abia communities without discrimination.

He also promised that the state which has become a construction site would benefit all communities in project distribution.

The governor made the promise on Saturday, 2nd December, at the Old Bende End of the year get-together, assuring that he would stop at nothing to ensure massive development in the state.

Otti also used the opportunity to thank the Old Bende communities for voting for him enmasse and all other Labour party candidates, assuring that they will enjoy the dividends of democracy from his government.

Governor Otti, who was represented by Dr. Cliff Agbaeze, his Special Adviser on Agriculture, assured that his government will be touching different aspects of the people’s need as there are many developments going on in the State like construction of roads etc.

Said Agbaeze ‘Governor Otti asked me to tell you that he sincerely appreciates the people of Old Bende for voting massively for him enmasse and all labour candidates during the last general elections.

“He assures the Old Bende people that the government under his leadership will be touching different aspects of the people’s need as there are many developments going on in the State like construction of roads, establishment of small scale industries, agricultural assistance etc.

” Our governor believes in fairness, equity and justice and you must be rest assured that no community in Abia state will suffer neglect.
” He has asked me to tell you that he will be fair to all, no discrimination of any sort, but run an all inclusive government for the development of Abia and to the joy of all.

In their response, the people of Old Bende expressed deep appreciation to governor Otti for the dividends of democracy, he has provided that cuts across the three senatorial zones of the state.
But they made the following request from governor Otti.

“Empowerment for Small and medium scale businesses
“Agricultural empowerment for Old Bende People and Vehicle
” Stoppage of discriminatory actions against Old Bende People”

They vowed to re-double their support for Otti, and to render any assistance expected from them to ensure total success for his administration.
