Ibrahim Attahiru, the Special Adviser to Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Sports and Youth Development, has resigned.
In a letter written to the governor on Sunday, Attahiru cited personal reasons for his resignation.
He said, ”Your Excellency Sir, my resignation is due to personal reasons.
“I’m thanking Your Excellency, Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, for the opportunity and confidence reposed in me.”

Attahiru was appointed in March 2021 alongside six others.
The others appointed special advisers on the same day as him are: Brigadier General Tunde Bello, (RTD) for security; Professor Adekunle Dunmade, for health; Ahmed Yinka Aluko for special duties.
Others are Saadu Salaudeen for strategy; Abdullateef Alakawa for Politics; and Bashir Adigun for political communications.
