Every October 9, Google makes a ‘big’ announcement. It is #MadebyGoogle, an event announcing one new innovation or the other by the tech giant.
This year, it is the release of its new smartphone, a convertible Pixel Slate.
In what would be considered as the worst kept tech secrets, Google said the tablet contains a slew of new features.
It has a detachable keyboard, similar to Microsoft Surface Pro,293 Pixel per inch (PPI) display, 8MP rear and front-facing camera with Portrait mode; fingerprint scanner; stereo speakers; a new version of Chrome Operation System (OS).
Other features include Integrated Google Assistant; Titan security; family link controls; three months free trial of YouTube TV and up to 10 hours of battery life.
The tech giant also announced a new Pixel Slate keyboard, rounded with backlit keys that requires no charging. The keyboard connects magnetically and features a kickstand, like the Surface Pro.
It comes at a price of N215,640 ($599).
