Presiding president of Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo at Shiloh 2022, says what Nigeria needs at this perilous time is a deliverer, not a leader.

Oyedepo who stated this while on the altar to deliver his message at the 3rd day of the night of Encounter service, says he has kept silent for a while on the happenings in this nation because he saw ahead as a prophet and warned Nigerians in 2015 but they did not listen.

“So many people were wagging their mouths. And most of the politicians have prophets that tell them what they want to hear. You don’t become a prophet by experience, it’s an election of grace,” he said.

Oyedepo added: “But I am prompted to pray for the nation. I was praying to God and he told me to pray for a deliverer in Nigeria. What Nigeria needs is a deliverer and not a leader.

“There is nothing that is remaining in the nation except the church. The only thing of value is the church. What event can bring 50 nations together in Nigeria? A large number of people are also at the Redemption Camp.

“The economy is dying and money distributors are busy distributing money. I could not watch the video of a human being set on fire and many do not care what is happening to anybody. I saw all of these and I warned Nigerians in 2015. I was not seeking for any post” Oyedepo stated with a loud disappointing tune.

However, Bishop Oyedepo, led the church to prayers praying thus:”God send us a deliverer and give us rest again.”

He declared that the land will have rest and Nigeria must have rest.

Also, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi was in attendance and some royal fathers.
