The Black Stars have suffered a fresh injury blow, as they are likely to miss the services of Daniel Kofi Kyereh when they file out against the Super Eagles in Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi later today.
According to Ghanasoccernet, the St. Paulis’ midfielder was conspicuously missing on Thursday evening, during their final training session due to a suspected thigh injury.
Kyereh’s thigh was strapped with ice after Wednesday’s training session, but his absence a day later now means he is a doubt for the first leg encounter against Nigeria tonight.

The 26-year-old has scored eleven goals and registered ten assists so far this season for his second decision side, St. Pauli, who are pushing for Bundesliga promotion in Germany.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have also ruled out another midfielder, Edmund Addo for both legs of the World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
The player has since returned to his Moldovan club FC Sheriff to begin his recuperation for an injury sustained in training.
The kick-off time for Ghana vs Nigeria is 8.30 pm West African time.
