Gallagher who joined Chelsea at the age of eight recently signed a five-year deal with La Liga club, Atletico Madrid

England midfielder, Conor Gallagher, has taken to social media to thank his former club, Chelsea for making his “dreams come true” when he was at Stamford Bridge following his recent transfer to La Liga side, Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old joined the West London club at the age of eight and went on to make 95 appearances for the English Premier League (EPL) outfit.
Speaking in a lengthy post he shared on his Instagram page, Gallagher, who signed a five-year deal with Atletico Madrid, hailed Chelsea for giving him an opportunity to blossom in his career.

He further noted that it was an honour for him to don the Blues’ jersey and captain the team.
He wrote, “To everyone at Chelsea, thank you for making my dreams come true.
“It’s been an absolute honor every time I put on the shirt, and it was a dream come true to captain the team on many occasions. I loved every moment.”
