Former WBC champion and heavyweight boxer, Tyson Fury has  claimed he broke Oleksandr Usky’s jaw after the Ukrainian was rushed to the hospital following his split decision win over the Britton.

TheNiche had earlier reported that Usky
became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world after defeating Fury on Sunday at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

However, despite Usyk’s win, it was the British boxer who seemingly inflicted the greater damage.

Usyk did not show up for his post-fight press conference, as he needed his injuries attended to.

Speaking after the fight, Fury said he and the Ukrainian, “busted” each other’s faces up for 12 rounds.

He said: “We just had a fight. Have you seen my face?

“It’s pretty busted up and he’s just gone to the hospital with a broken jaw and he’s busted too.

“We’ve punched the f*** out of each other for 12 rounds there.”

But the scorecards read 115-112, 113-114, 114-113 in favour of Usyk after the 12th round.

With the latest win, the Ukrainian has now added the WBC title to his WBA, IBF and WBO belts.

Meanwhile, Usyk at the ringside after the fight dedicated his victory over Fury to “Jesus Christ”, whom he admitted came to his aid.

He said: “I thank God for the help he gave me today because he did give me a lot today. My lord is Jesus Christ.”
