Ace Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, has revealed she kept her children’s faces from the public glare to enable the twins to live normal life devoid of the pressure she and their father, JJC Skillz go through.
The thespian disclosed this during a recent chat with blogger, Jide Okonjo, where she explained that her action is meant to shield them from the unnecessary pressure of being kids of celebrities.
The movie star insisted she has already unveiled the twins and urged her fans to make do with the faces of their father, herself, and their home.
“Don’t you see my home? Don’t you see my husband? Don’t you see the back of my children? How is that one private? The children’s face is that what you are trying to say? No,” she said.

Funke Akindele added that she is protecting them so they can live a normal life, saying the kids will show their faces to the public at the right time on their own.
She went on to say she and their dad are already in the spotlight and wouldn’t want the same for her kids, since it would make them susceptible.
“When they are old enough, they should show their faces if they want to. But for now, I don’t want them to show their faces. I want them to have their lives and enjoy it.
“Their dad and I are already in the public eye. They are children, don’t forget. They are children. They are vulnerable so you have to just keep them away, keep them safe,” she added
She ended by saying keeping their identities will protect them at school and in other endeavours in life.
“Let them go to school, let them enjoy their lives without “Ah!” that’s Jenifa’s son. That’s JJC’s son. Ah see his leg, see his face” Leave them private!” she concluded.
