Calvin Bassey helped Rangers finish second in the Scottish Premiership and reach the final of both the Europa League and the Scottish Cup

The newly crowned Championship champions, Fulham have identified Nigerian defender, Calvin Bassey as one of those to help preserve their stay in the Premier League next season.
The London club gained automatic promotion back into the Premier League alongside Bournemouth and are now looking to put together a formidable defensive unit ahead of the top-flight campaign
According to Hommedumatch, Fulham have firmed up their interest in Glasgow Rangers full-back and have made an initial €4 million offer for the Nigerian.
The Cottagers after their relegation from the Premier League in the 2020-21 season have had a near-flawless campaign in the lower league but more will be needed to stay in the English top flight.

In a bid to improve their defence ahead of next season, adding one of the most improved defenders in Europe to their payroll would be a fine step in the right direction.
Calvin Bassey, who was an unknown quantity when he left Leicester City’s academy in 2020 has grown into the top half of every major club’s shopping list after an exceptional season with Scottish giants Rangers.
The 22-year-old’s stock even rose higher after helping the Light Blues finish second in the Scottish Premiership and reach the final of both the Europa League and the Scottish Cup.
Rangers are due to play the Scottish Cup later today, after narrowly losing the Europa League final on penalties to German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Super Eagles defender was the only Nigerian named in the Europa League Team of the Season following his exploits in the competition.
