Fulham after the shock away win, took to their social media handle saying ‘That’s why they call it the Theatre of Dreams’

London club, Fulham on Saturday evening mocked Premier League giants, Manchester United after recording their second win in over two decades against the Red Devils at Old Trafford.
Two goals in two halves from Nigerian internationals, Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi gave the Cottagers a vital 2-1 win against Erik ten Hag’s side and the three points at stake.
Man United’s goal came in the 89th minute of the encounter through their captain, Harry Maguire.

Rreacting to the victory via a tweet on their X account, Fulham posted: “So that’s why they call it the Theatre Of Dreams,” and added a winking face emoji.
The surprise loss ended Man United’s recent good run of form, as they stay on 44 points and 6th on the league table, 8 points away from Champion League places.
Fulham on the other hand, moved up to 12th position and away from relegation places after garnering 32 points from 26 games.
They will now host Brighton in their next game at home on March 2.
