Fuji singer, Pasuma, loses mother

On their respective Instagram pages, the likes of Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika have condoled with Pasuma, their colleague, on the death of his mother.

Fuji singer, Pasuma, has lost his mother, Adijat Kuburat popularly known as Iyawo Anobi.

The musician mourned his mother on Thursday night via Instagram.

Pasuma shared a photo of himself and mum and wrote: “My jewel, I will miss you forever! Words fail me. Rest in power and peace, please watch over me from heaven.”

The post generated more than 3,500 comments in an hour.

Fans and entertainers have flooded the comment section of his post to condole with him.

“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Deepest condolences,” comedian Mr Macaroni wrote.

Born in Mushin in Lagos State, Pasuma grew up in Kwara State and started writing songs in 1984.

The music prodigy, who rose from a humble background to a renowned performer, actor and businessman, was raised by his mother after she separated from her husband.

Last year, Pasuma celebrated two special women in his life — his mother and daughter. He shared a photo of the duo, wishing them happy birthday celebrations.
