Fuel Yapa initiative launched to ease Christmas travel

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vindi Petroleum Mr.Victor Kalu on Friday at Okota, Lagos launched one of its innovations that would make Petroleum products easily available, affordable at the same price nationwide.


Kalu who addressed the Igbo Community comprising the Ezes, kings, heads of Markets and Community leaders on the need to embrace the opportunity said, “It is important that we grow the economy of the state as we try to make fuel easily affordable for people to travel for Christmas.”

Throwing more light on the importance of the initiative, “Fuel Yapa is about growing a network that will be big enough to command a large purchasing power and make petroleum products especially fuel so affordable as ‘Fuel Yapa’ means Fuel in abundance”.

He noted that the sole objective of Vindi petroleum is to build the largest private petroleum distribution platform in Africa.

“This initiative is born out of technology which makes things faster and to see Petroleum products distributed equally across the country at uniform price for the first time in Nigeria.
Petroleum drives almost all productive processes in the nation and our goal is to partner with Nigerians so that we can bring about a change.”

He also informed that his company is partnering with fuel stations nationwide.

“As you have your fuel voucher provided by us, you can purchase fuel anywhere in the country .We have over 1,000 stations in partnership with us across the country.You can drive into any petrol station and buy fuel at an affordable price.What we want to do during this yuletide period is to create a system where by 10,000,000 litres of fuel will be provided every day and this will make the price lesser.”

He told the appreciative crowd that, “if you are traveling to the South East, you can order for fuel on our platform.Our platform has the GPS of every station that we are partnering with.
We also have a station at Maza Maza. We are particular about innovation. We want you to subscribe to this and partner with us so that prices of goods and transportation can be affordable.”


Meanwhile, Eze Igbo in Lagos state HRH Christian Nwachukwu JP thanked Vindi Petroleum for this initiative.

“Instead of going through the fuel scarcity issues, through the Vindi Petroleum initiative, you can travel anywhere at ease. We have bought this idea and we believe it will go far.”


He emplored his cabinet members and Community members to embrace the opportunity.
