Fresh Boko Haram attack on Adamawa claims three

At least three persons were feared killed following an attack by Boko Haram insurgents in Pallam village in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Ahe attack which took place on Monday, January 15, night is said to have sent some of the residents fleeing the community after some of their houses were burnt down, including a clinic in the town.
The chairman of Madagali Council, Yusuf Mohammed told Channels Television that the military responded to the attack almost immediately and has brought the situation under control.

Mohammed called on the government to boost security presence in the area due to the frequent attacks by the insurgents on the residents in recent times.

The attack on Pallam village comes barely a week after the terrorists launched a similar attack on neighbouring Wanu, Kamale and Kafin communities of Michika and Madagali areas in Adamawa State.

Also, a suicide bomb attack was averted last week by troops of Operation Lafiya Dole deployed around Gamboru Ngala in Gamboru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.
