“We appeal to those aggrieved due to outcome of the last election not to regard themselves as enemy of the administration.

“I suggest that they should come together and bring useful ideas that will develop the country’’, he said.

The former councillor said those trying to go back to the creeks to cause violence should reconsider their stand because it would not be in the interest of the region or the country.

He said instead, such youths should come forward, embrace and give the government useful ideas.

“We want development in the Niger Delta in an atmosphere of peace. We do not want violence again.

“Niger Delta people do not want violence in the region or the country. Let there be peace for the government to succeed and it will benefit all Nigerians’’, he said.

Don-Pedro commended President Buhari for pledging to tackle some of the challenges facing the nation.

He urged him to take up challenges such as epileptic power supply, unemployment, corruption and development of the Niger Delta.

“We appeal to Buhari to carry all Nigerians along and run an all-inclusive government’’, he said. (NAN)
