It will be recalled that the Flying Eagles lost 2-4 to Brazil in their first group match of the championship but came back strong in the second match when they walloped DPR of Korea 4-0 and on Sunday morning, defeated Hungary 2-0 to book a place in the Round of 16 and a match against the Germans on Thursday.
Their match on Thursday will kick off at 7.30 pm, which will be 8.30am also Thursday in Nigeria.
The winners of this match-up will battle the winners of another Round of 16 match between Ghana and Mali in the quarterfinals, which will also be staged in Christchurch.
