Nigeria singer and Grammy Awards winner, Burna Boy, has been performing beyond the shores of Nigeria of late, but his recent performance before a sell out crowd at Madison Square Garden had an unusual touch.
The much anticipated and jam-packed event took place on April 28, 2022, in New York in the United States and videos from it have gone viral on social media.
The 30-year-old music star dropped a lot of his hit songs to the delight of his fans and the numerous renditions left the crowd in a frenzy, as some female fans went wild.

A number of the female fans who were captivated by his performance decided to show the singer some love and appreciation by removing their bras and throwing them at him on stage.
The singer, who seemed to enjoy the gesture, at one point during the show acknowledged the ladies and encouraged them to throw more bras at him.
Burma Boy after gathering so many brassieres from the fans later hung them around his waist and neck as he continued his energetic performances to the adoration of the fans.
Meanwhile, Burna Boy became the first Nigerian music artist to headline a sold-out concert in Madison Square Garden in New York, USA raking in over N3 billion in ticket sales alone.
Tickets sold for as low as $80 with an average of $350 and as high as $2,125. Therefore, using average sales of N145,365.50 ($350) multiplied by the total available capacity for a music concert in the arena of 20,789, with the current exchange rate of N415.33 will amount to $7,276,150 which is the equivalence of N3,022,003,379.50.
The historic 2 hours concert titled ‘One Night in Space’ was also streamed live on youtube gaining over 81,000 viewers drawing fans from different countries including Nigeria, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
