There are indications that the recent truce between two Nollywood actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Fathia Balogun, after two years of the feud was brokered by the Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, and another actor, Olaiya.

The rift started after Iyabo Ojo in February 2020 shaded her colleague and called her a snitch. Though the reason for the fallout remained unknown, there were rumors that the disagreement was engendered by a fight over a younger lover. A report Fathia debunked.

On Tuesday however, the duo seem to have buried the hatchet, as they took to their Instagram pages to share a picture of both of them and offer friendly gestures, indicating they have reconciled.

Iyabo Ojo announced that they will follow each other back on Instagram, she also appreciated MC Oluomo and actor, Olaiya, apparently for their roles in the reconciliation.

She wrote, “It’s all peace and love, Fathia Williams. How we would follow each other back on Instagram is what’s remaining. Instagram experts, over to you. Thank you @kingmcoluomo, @olaiyaigwefilms.”

Fathia Balogun also shared the same picture as Iyabo Ojo on her Instagram page, and equally wrote, “Happy new year Iyabo Ojo. @kingmcoluomo, @olaiyaigwe films, more wisdom, and understanding. Let peace reign.”

Fans of the two actresses have taken to various social media platforms to express delight over the reconciliation, some of them also thanked the two men purported to have brought about the much desired reconciliation.
