Adedamola Adewale, better known by her twitter handle name @adeherself is a young, beautiful and talented lady who makes skit that could make anybody laugh. But on June 17, her photograph, along with four other men, were all over the news for alleged involvement in internet fraud, also known as yahoo.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says adeherself was a picker for the yahoo boys.
Adeherself makes short comedy videos. In some of her skits, she features her parents. Her alleged involvement in yahoo was a surprise to many.
@horlatunzy said: “Well adeherself was a very talented person and could have made it with the effort she puts in her works. Her parents supported her the most, and she disappointed us all by involving in fraud..SAD�…But youths Pls pray and work hard… good things come to those who wait..#Adeherself”
@acomscopy also said: “The story of @adeherself is a solid reminder that we should live within our means. Many people came on this street (Twitter) and tell u all that N30,000 is not enough to start a life, and some even say #580,000 is too small for bride price. Please stay your lane and enjoy your garri without dent or bad name.”
