Former Nigerian Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode popularly known as FFK, has predicted the outcome of the upcoming United States of America’s presidential election following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal.

Speaking via his X page, the All Progressives Party (APC) chieftain expressed confidence that the former US president and Republican Party’s candidate, Donald Trump would beat the incumbent Vice President, Kamala Harris comfortably.

His comment comes after Biden announced his decision to withdraw from the November 2024 presidential election on Sunday.

The US President in a letter announcing his decision said, “While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term.”

His decision followed intense pressure from prominent Democratic Party’s leaders, who urged him to step down due to his age and health concerns.

After bowing to the pressure, Biden subsequently endorsed his deputy, Kamala as his preferred presidential nominee for the Democratic Party.

Reacting to the development, Fani-Kayode in a post on his verified social media handle on Monday said despite Biden’s endorsement, Trump of the Republican Party would defeat Kamala at the polls.

He tweeted, “Donald Trump (@realDonaldTrump) will bury her at the polls and this will represent the final triumph of the forces of light over the forces of darkness in the raging battle for the soul of America”.
