The family of Sylvester Oromoni, the 12-year-old boy beaten to death by his schoolmates, has hired the foremost human rights lawyer and activist, Femi Falana, to prosecute the case against the school.

The school has not been forthcoming with information on how the young Sylvestre Oromoni died from the injuries he sustained in the school. Its earlier claim that he got injured during a soccer game has been rejected by many.

The law firm of Falana has now written to the office of Lagos State’s chief coroner, requesting an inquest into the circumstances leading to the death of his client’s child.
