A Twitter war is currently underway between the former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani, and 23-year-old EndSARS activist, Rinu Oduala.

The two social media gladiators are in different political camps, a possible reason for their all-out war.

Nnamani, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), recently declared support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He was even appointed into the APC Campaign Council as a member.

Rinu, a staunch supporter of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is a hardened critic of Tinubu.

Rinu provoked the ex-Enugu Governor when she tweeted using her verified handle, @SavvyRinu, saying: “House rent of 28,000,000 million naira. Why won’t people like Chimaroke Nnamani remain in politics for more than 20 years? This business is lucrative!”

Nnamani fired back immediately but ignored her poser about the N28 milliion rent. He simply described her as: “Rhino Oditty!”

The young activist then alleged that he made his money by milking Enugu State dry when he was a governor of the state. Nnamani replied, body shaming Rinu, and sharing a headless photograph of a naked lady lying on another man. He claimed the naked lady is Rinu.

The war has now gone beyond the two individuals. Their supporters have taken over.

@Buchi_Laba said: “A Senator, former governor of a state on Twitter arguing and exchanging words with Rinu like a 12years old!  The highest level of Shamelessness. I know he’s the one posting the tweets but it’s Crazy.”

But @Naijawilf replied Rinu: “You can make your point without being insulting. Show the world a little aspect of your home training as a Yoruba girl.”
