Ex-Eagles star, Emenike hospitalised, Kanu, Okocha cheer him

   

Emenike shared a video of him in the hospital on social media and two Super Eagles legends, Kanu and Okocha wished him a speedy recovery

Former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike on Wednesday, shared a video of him receiving treatment in an unknown hospital and lamented that he is going through a lot of pain. 

The 34-year-old Emenike revealed in the video which has now gone viral on social media, that he is battling an unknown health condition.

Emenike emerged the top scorer at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with four goals as Nigeria lifted a continental title in South Africa

He made his international debut in 2011 and after scoring nine goals in 37 games, he retired from international football in 2015

But the former Fenerbahce forward is experiencing a twist of fate, as he is currently battling an ailment, which according to him, seems serious.

He wrote, “God is good, the pain is too much for me and my heart cannot carry it anymore.”

The video has drawn the attention of the online community, including two Super Eagles legends, Kanu Nwankwo and Austin ‘Jayjay’ Okocha. who all wished him a speedy recovery. 

Nwankwo Kano who responded to the post in his comment section said, “Get well my brother. God is with you.”

Austin Okocha also wrote, “Get well soon Nwanne.”
